The views here are amazing, and we truly enjoyed our five days at zona braza, from 15 to 20 June 2026. Elna and her staff were excellent. Whether we were at the beach bar or the main restaurant, someone friendly was always quick to help. Our room was practical and had everything we needed. The menu is simple, with all the familiar favorites you’d want in Mozambique, and the chef really knows what he’s doing. We enjoyed every meal, especially the half grilled chicken. A full body massage at the on site spa was a lovely way to finish the week. Thank you, Elna and Staff. We’ll always remember this stay, and we’ll definitely come back in summer with our kids.

This was our fifth visit to Zona Braza, and they kindly upgraded us to a larger room with a raised sea view. All the rooms are lovely. The staff are efficient, friendly, and do their best to make the stay pleasant. The beach is great for walks. If you enjoy birding, the lagoon just behind the dunes has a good variety of freshwater birds. It’s still our favorite stop on the four day drive from northern Botswana to Tofo.

It’s a bit of a drive off the tar road, but the lodge is worth reaching for the fantastic setting and sea views. At low tide, two lagoons form, making for amazing snorkeling. The restaurant does delicious Portuguese dishes, and breakfast was top notch. The accommodation was clean, with Wi-Fi among the facilities. I also liked the pool area and beach bar.

The comfortable accommodation, lovely setting, and service made Zona Braza a fantastic stay. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the hospitality again. From arrival, the staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was quick and smooth, and someone showed me around the facilities. Every staff member I met was helpful, friendly, and seemed to care about my comfort. They were always ready to go the extra mile and make sure I had what I needed. I’d recommend staying here.
