After 2.5 months of camping, this was a welcome break from the dust. Our travel partners had vehicle trouble, and Werner went above and beyond to get them sorted out. Big thumbs up to Tete Ferry Sun and the team! The only place to stay in Tete.

There’s a great view of the river, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The houses are made of wood, so you hear a bit of creaking as you walk around. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is included and generously served. A good hotel to stay at in Tete.

I only spent a short time there, over two nights, but the service was excellent.

The location on the Zambesi riverbank is breathtaking, though the road leading to the hotel isn’t good. The restaurant serves excellent, well prepared food, and the service is friendly, efficient, and courteous.

Housekeeping was amazing and very friendly. Our cottage had two separate rooms and two bathrooms, plus a shared living room and kitchen. It’s a beautiful place by the river with a gated entrance, great customer service, a fitness room, and a lovely outdoor pool. Food is made fresh, so it takes a while to arrive, but it comes out hot and cooked to order.
