I still had a lovely stay, and the place is peaceful with helpful staff. There's no restaurant on the premises, though they do serve a basic breakfast. The kitchen is basic and needs a lot of work to reach standard. The pool isn't cleaned every day, and the bed linen is worn. Since you have to go elsewhere for meals and drinks, getting around adds to the cost of your stay.

The beach in front has clear water, but the sand is covered with litter and broken beer bottles. The pool was green and moldy, the showers were clogged, and both the kitchen and breakfast service were horrible.

The room was comfortable and clean, with air conditioning. The gardens are pretty and the location is good. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The worst attitude ever. They advertise the room with air conditioning, then at check-in tell you to use it for only two hours to save money. In summer you can't sleep without air conditioning or a fan, and they didn't offer a fan either.

The lodge has new owners and is now called Lemon Beach Lodge. The bungalows are nice and have air conditioning, and the food is good.
