The pool opens right onto the beach, and the big garden made a lovely setting for families and kids. We booked the whole place for friends and family for our wedding at VdP, and had a wonderful time. The staff were kind and very helpful, and the self-catering houses had everything we needed, with roomy balconies and comfortable rooms.

The staff were really helpful, and the accommodation is lovely in a great spot. But the cleanliness fell short of what the reviews had led me to expect, which was disappointing. They also provide just one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay. At the price, that doesn't feel fair, and it's why I can't give it four or five stars.

The pepper steak was tender, juicy, and spicy, and the service was great. I heard there'd been some recent revamping, though I'm not sure what all was changed. You can definitely see it in the restaurant. It's a stunning spot, and the food was great.

We weren't staying at Vila do Paraiso, so using the pool costs 200 MZN, or 150MZN for kids. The setting is really beautiful, right on the beach.

We were there recently to celebrate with some good friends, and VDP is such an amazing place. The location is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We can't wait to book our next trip back to VDP.
