The roomy kitchen is a real plus in a small town with few places to eat, and the house itself is large, with clean, comfortable bedrooms and a pleasant garden. It’s good value, too. A couple of things could work better: there’s no Wi-Fi, and getting the gate codes means stopping at the Bahnhof Hotel. Sending them by message would make check-in easier.

Check-in was easy, and the house was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay at Aloe Rock.

We’d already booked and paid for Klein-Aus Vista: Desert Horse Inn Campsite, but wanted a hot shower and electricity, so we spent a night here instead. The house is huge, nicely decorated, and has a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed staying here, and the price felt well worth it.

We had a really nice night here. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place for families passing through.

The sunrise and sunset views are hard to describe, and the braai area is magic. It’s in a great spot, feels secure, and was spotless. There’s everything you need for self-catering, plus some.
