The river view from the deck is incredible, and getting there through all those lush green trees makes the place feel like a hidden gem. Caprivi Houseboat Camp has lovely tented rooms down a garden path, with everything you need. Such a special spot!

Ivan made our four nights on the Zambesi and Chobe river so relaxing. He handled everything as skipper and guide, and knows the local birds and wildlife inside out. Seeing Malachite Kingfishers, including a juvenile, was a highlight. This was a really special addition to our Botswana/Namibia itinerary, and we’d happily do it again.

After a long day cycling, sitting on the deck with a beer and taking in the view felt like heaven. We stayed in the camp tents, with a shared lapa area and ablutions. It had everything we needed to rest well and look forward to the next part of our journey.

Curt made our stay feel relaxed and personal, and looked after our group of six female friends so well while we backpacked through the area. His dogs brought a lot of warmth and character, too. Caprivi Houseboat Safari & Lodge is a special place with a big heart. We’ll definitely return and recommend it.
