The view, swimming pool, staff, and chalet were all perfect, and the food was excellent. Chef Jousi is the best. We've stayed here before and we'll be back again.

We spent two days at Khan River lodge and had a really nice stay. The luxury room was lovely, clean, and beautiful, and the staff were especially kind. Thanks to the friendly crew.

We came back for two nights in August 2021 and enjoyed the spotlessly clean self-catering unit and the pool area. The new luxury rooms look great. We’d also suggest adding a couple of marked walking trails. On our earlier stay, we were two retired Namibians spending two nights in a self-catering chalet. The sparkling pool and garden were lovely, and we spent time reading in the comfortable loungers. It was a thoroughly relaxing couple of days, with friendly, efficient staff, and we’ll definitely return. Since it’s an easy trip from Swakopmund, Khan River Lodge works well for a weekend or a short mid-week break.

The game drive was a highlight. I learned a lot and saw my first pangolin, which was the best part. The sunset viewpoint was beautiful too. It’s such a peaceful place, the people are warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Definitely somewhere I’d love to visit again 😊👌🏾

Rohan was welcoming when we arrived at Khan River Lodge without a booking, hoping to camp for one night during our month-long Namibia visit. After a 20km drive north from B2 through lovely scenery, with a giraffe resting in the middle of the road and other game along the sides, he showed us around, introduced us to the ostriches and the warthog he had raised, then led us to a private campsite beside the dry Khan River bed. The campsite, lodge, and surrounding area are beautiful, and we’d give them five stars. Rohan is articulate and very helpful with identifying the plants and trees on the property. Even after we left, he sent us information when we shared photos. We had a great experience and hoped to return, but the lodge was closed for a couple of days, so we missed the chance.
