Daureb Isib Campsite and B&B

The garden and surroundings were really beautiful, and dinner and breakfast were good. The room had a nice mix of bungalow and tent, though the bathroom and shower are outside. The furniture needs maintenance, the shower didn't work properly, and one window's mosquito net was damaged. Check-in was challenging. At 5:55 pm nobody was there at first, and staff had to call several people to find out where we were staying. If you bring trolleys, be prepared to carry them to the bungalows yourself. There's no path and no help with luggage.

I really enjoyed my stay, and the food at both lunch and dinner. Clean, roomy campsite, a nice pool, and very friendly staff. The restaurant is a little gem.

A peaceful, welcoming campsite with lots of thoughtful little touches. Our site had a shaded parking space, electricity, and clean, spacious private ablutions, which made things easy. The pool was perfect for cooling off. It's a simple place, but we loved staying here.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped, and the people were nice. It was a decent stay, as long as you know what the location is really like. The Wi-Fi didn't work. We expected an isolated place with just five or six units on the edge of town, based on the photos and Google Maps satellite view. Those images are out of date. They've added about 10-12 units, much closer together than the original ones, overlooking the existing setup. They look less authentic and detract from the atmosphere. There are also more day and bakkie units in the main area. More houses have gone up around the site, and a warehouse was being built opposite. The unit outside the main circle now faces the warehouse, someone's new caravan garage, and the imposing new units. It's a real shame, because the setting isn't the secluded one we expected.
