The reception staff were really nice and showed me the room. It was clean, had a hot shower, good parking, and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed my stay, though the internet was poor. I also visited the big five star hotel nearby, and its internet and phone reception were poor too. For a mid budget hotel, this is very good value, definitely five star for that.

It took a bit of figuring out to make sense of the mixed reviews. The riverfront bungalows are spacious, with lovely views and a "bidon braai," and their guests seem happy. People in the cheap rooms, on the other hand, are usually pretty unhappy. Being so close to both parks made it a great choice for us.

For a budget stay in Caprivi, this is a handy low-cost option in Divundu, right on the river near the bridge. The people were nice, the restaurant was good, and the surroundings were pleasant. Internet wasn’t working, though. Fine for a one-night stop.

We had a great breakfast, and the restaurant has lots of different meals that are really good. The guest house itself is very nice, with big gardens leading down to the river. My backpacker room was more than enough for the rate. I went on a game drive with the owner, Peter, who was very friendly, and we saw lots of animals.

The restaurant was awesome, and breakfast was exceptional. The setting is beautiful, a leafy compound by the Kavango River, though there isn’t really anywhere to relax beside the river unless you’re in one of the few rooms next to it. My room was fairly okay for the price, and I was lucky to be near the washrooms. They had rubbish that hadn’t been collected, and the urinals were in bad shape. The bathrooms themselves were fine.
