Safarihoek Lodge

We only stayed two nights and were already sad to leave. The whole team treated us like part of the Safarihoek family, and the service was excellent. Mamsy was an amazing guide, and Erica, Agnes, Edgar, Phillip, Melissa, and everyone else were great. Next time, we'd love to stay three nights.

Our favorite place to stay on the whole trip. Honestly, we'd come back to Namibia just for another stay here. The views are incredible, and we could watch the watering hole from our room. The camera monitor was a nice feature too. Our room was comfortable, and the lodge was very well kept. The viewing hide looked great as well. We made every sunrise and sunset drive we could, and Mike was easily the best guide of our trip. He knew his stuff and was great at tracking. We saw plenty of animals, but he knew we especially wanted more time with lions, so he made finding them his mission. It wasn't easy, but he pulled it off. The staff were incredible, so kind and caring. Erica was especially friendly and helpful, and Phillip was a pleasure as our waiter. Everyone else was helpful too. I'd recommend this place without hesitation. If you're visiting Etosha, I'd do that first, because leaving this reserve for the park would make it hard to match what you had here.

The views and sunsets were stunning, and we saw plenty of wild animals around the waterhole by the main building. We had an amazing time on safari too, with enthusiastic guides doing their best to make it memorable. The staff, from managers to waitresses, were all incredibly kind and keen to make our stay special. We spent two honeymoon nights at Safarihoek in Namibia, and it was the best hotel of our trip. The fresh, tasty food was carefully prepared, and the amenities were good. We definitely had a lovely stay and recommend it.

Salomon was a knowledgeable guide and helped us see all the animals we hoped for. We had everything we needed throughout the stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable, even setting up a lawn table for lunch. There were lovely views from the main lodge, and the fully inclusive option came with great food and a very wide wine selection.
