Caprivi River Lodge

You can watch the sunrise each day from this beautiful lodge right on the river. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed. The staff were so kind, and the pre-fixed dinner was delicious every night.

The rooms aren’t the newest, but they’re cozy and clean, and we loved the homemade breakfast and dinner. Both were delicious and could easily compete with meals at larger lodges. We also really enjoyed the Kayak tour. Mary and Keith were great hosts, and their staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. The lodge sits right on the banks of the Zambezi river, with a lovely garden in front of the little guest chalets. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights on our way back from Vic Falls and had a wonderful time. We’ll come back when we’re up north again!

We were concerned two nights might get boring, but that never happened. The lodge is beautiful, right by the Zambezi, with a phenominal view. The rooms were spotless, and the owners and staff were lovely and attentive. We especially enjoyed the dinners. The food was always tasty, and we ate every bit of it. The staff put a little twist in their dishes. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a calm, relaxing place with a great view of the mighty Zambezi river. The surroundings are beautifully green, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. If you love nature, this is the place for you.
