I’ve rarely had service this bad. They kept getting my order wrong, and management wasn’t involved. Things like that can make or break a place. Imagine having an important meeting and getting this kind of service.

The rooms were fair, but nowhere near three-star quality. As for the restaurant, what a joke. I had to try ordering a main course three times before it was available. Two of us ordered the same meal, but they prepared just one, so we waited over an hour and a half. Dessert was the same story: when I asked for it, I was told it wasn’t available.

We went in for lunch and regretted it. We were there for two hours: after waiting an hour and a half, only two of our three dishes were ready. The last one came 15 minutes later.

It’s noisy and very old. There was coffee and tea, but no sugar, and not even a kettle in the room.

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The accommodation itself was basic and clean, though the cleaning staff had been smoking in the non-smoking room.
