The owners left their employee to deal with us, though she couldn't do anything. They said they would come, but never showed up. We booked a night for two for 490N$, paid a 73N$ deposit, and were told on arrival that the price was for one person. The site clearly showed 490 for two, but we had to pay another 825N$, bringing the total to around 900N$. For that amount, the room had dirty walls, a clothes rack above the pillow, and felt like an uninsulated garage, just as cold inside as outside. The shower didn't work, so we had to use the shared showers despite booking a private bathroom. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, no towels, not even hand towels, no clean bath mats, and no light-blocking curtains. You can regret things on a trip, but you won't regret skipping this place.

It's a nice hostel, and there's a shared kitchen. It felt like we were the only guests while we were there. The staff were often around, but no one told us about the activities mentioned, and we couldn't ask about them. Maybe we were just there in the off season for things like surfing.

The owner and staff were very friendly and happy to share tips and information. We had a nice stay at this cute hostel, with a kitchen for making meals. A convenient place to stay in Lüderitz, and I'd definitely recommend it :)

A good value place to stay on a budget, with safe parking for your vehicle. The backpackers were friendlier than most I've met. You can choose a room with an en-suite bathroom or use one of the others with a shared bathroom. There are two shared showers in the same room, plus a pool table, a TV, and a lovely little garden.
