I had a nice weekend stay here with my friends, so I'd give the place five stars. The staff were lovely and helped clean up as we left. Our rooms were clean, the water was warm, and the place had that one-with-nature feel.

The place looks nice, which makes it a pity that there wasn't better control over the neighbouring campers. They partied into the morning, and security couldn't get them to quiet down. We packed up in the middle of the night and drove home so we could sleep.

The food was mediocre and not worth what we paid. I got a small chicken breast with pasta and salad on the side. The lodge looked good, so we chose it for our last night in Namibia, hoping for an early night, but customer service was lacking. After my friend and I had one Scotch each at the bar, they were out, and when we asked for another brand, we were told there was no Scotch left at the lodge.

We only came to the lodge for lunch, but they charged N$250 per person just to be there. Food and drinks still cost extra, which I find ridiculous. Why charge people for coming to your establishment to support the business? It was a bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The surroundings are nice and tidy, but several things need attention. The waiters are very slow, the bar is left unattended and the beers are hot. The lunch menu could use more variety, and rooms aren't serviced daily. Reception is unattended too, and it would be nice to have at least one TV in the bar area.
