The rooms are really comfortable and clean, and the steak was especially good. They also serve the best cuppa in town. It’s a great little gem, a bit hidden away, but the excellent food and service make up for that. Always a great experience.

I ordered a ham and cheese toastie at the restaurant and waited nearly two hours for it. The fries were great, but the toastie was burnt black underneath. Paying so much for such a simple meal after waiting that long was really disappointing. I can’t recommend it.

The staff were great, and the food was top notch. The pool was spotless, though a grassy area beside it would have made it ideal. The accommodation was very nice, with a huge, comfortable king-size bed.

My husband has been there for work since the 11th Feb, away from his family for so long, and this is the service he’s getting. His TV still hasn’t been fixed after he reported it to management. Every time he goes to the restaurant, he waits more than an hour for service, then hours for his food and bill. Terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

They need to treat customers equally. We’ve booked as a group for two or three weeks on a number of occasions, and noticed that breakfast is only served well when tourists are there. When there are no tourists, even fruit isn’t available. The establishment is old and needs modernizing, including getting rid of those old meroen sofas and more.
