Sleeping outside under the stars was one of the best parts of my trip. I tried the outdoor bed, and it turned into a moment I won't forget. The desert setting is stunning, and the lodge is decorated with a lot of care. There’s a shared pool area as well as a private pool by the room. Meals, drinks, and transport to Deadvlei, Dune 45, and the hot-air balloon activity were all included, and everything was very well organised. There’s a plug for the 4x4 fridge, which came in handy while travelling through Namibia. WiFi is only in the main building, but it worked well there. A really special, memorable stay.

Our guide Emmanuel made our first trip to Namibia especially memorable. He was patient and knew his stuff, and arranged ATV outings and scorpion tracking. He also came with us up Big Daddy dune, with hiking poles, photos, and encouragement along the way. We were a family of four staying at Wilderness Safaris’ Little Kulala Lodge to see the wildlife and the dunes around Sossusvlei. The landscape was breathtaking, and the lodge made a great base for taking it in. With just 11 luxury camps, the place felt intimate, and the staff were attentive and professional from the warm welcome onward. Even in such a remote desert setting, we had WiFi, hot showers, good linens, and private plunge pools. The food was another surprise. Every meal impressed us for its flavor, quality, and presentation, even though we’re from the New York City area. Little Kulala brought together comfort, warmth, and a real sense of place, and made our first Namibia visit unforgettable.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and we felt well cared for throughout our stay. Little Kulala has a stunning lodge, and the activities and accommodation brought together adventure and comfort in the middle of Namibia’s beautiful landscape. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, with lovely service and a real sense of luxury. We left with memories we’ll keep for a long time.

Little Kulala surpassed what I was hoping for. The places and experiences around the lodge are breathtaking, and inside it’s comfortable and well organised. The food was great, and the staff made us feel welcome. I’ve never felt so much quiet and open space in one place.

Nelson made our time in the desert spectacular. He was the best guide, and the activities were just what we wanted to do while we were there. The views across the resort were extraordinary, and the team was warm, accommodating, and top notch. Great food too. This was our favourite place during a three week vacation, and we really didn’t want to leave.
