The lodges are close to Sossusvlei, which makes it easy to get an early start for activities before the desert heat builds. They're private, beautiful places to stay, with large comfortable rooms and air conditioning. The pool and bar area is lovely and has WiFi. Dinner and other meals are served at the larger lodge down the road, which is convenient. Great stargazing, and a very nice stay for a reasonable price in this area.

We saw a little fox running around in the morning, and the stars and quiet desert nights were amazing. This is one of my absolute favorite stays, and I'd happily come back. Dinner and breakfast can be arranged through Desert Camp reception at the nearby lodge called sossusvlei lodge. Dinner is a full buffet, reasonably priced, and served outside under the stars. The whole dining experience was lovely.

After long drives and a day of activities at Sossusvlei, the peace and quiet were just what we needed. The chalets and pool area have stunning views, and the location is ideal for Sossusvlei. Our room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.

Inside, the rooms are really nice. We had a problem with the shower in ours, so we had to move to a different chalet. The units are lined up and some are quite far from reception and the bar, where the only WiFi is available. The refrigerators are kept outside.

What a dream location. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. I left something behind after checkout, and they found it while I was already in Swakopmund. They arranged for someone travelling the same way to bring it to me in person.
