It’s a quiet spot in town that not many people seem to know about. The rooms are tidy, with white sheets, air conditioning and a TV. Prices are reasonable and cheap, so it works well for a holiday, business trip or workshop if you’re trying to save. There’s no room service, and getting a taxi can be difficult if you aren’t driving.
The host was friendly, the location is good, and the place is affordable. Beds were comfortable, and the room had a fridge, TV and kettle. It does need some upkeep, though: a ceiling was sagging in one room, my bathroom door had no handle, and some walls were cracked. Three rooms share one geyser, so the hot water runs out.
We arrived to a quiet, cozy atmosphere, but the manager, or whoever the woman in charge was, spoke to us rudely. In my local and international travels, I’ve met people running small businesses who have huge hearts, almost like saints. Here, the person in charge seemed kind only when it came to payment, and didn’t show the ordinary courtesy you’d expect. I’d suggest this place only as a last resort.
The dining area was poorly lit, and the toilet leaked and smelled bad. We had two rooms, but neither air conditioner worked, and one was dripping water onto the bed. At 350 a night, I’d say it’s okay, though there are better places for the same price.
The owner was especially helpful and arranged accommodation for 40 people at the last minute. The rooms were clean and nice, the staff helped us out, and we had a comfortable stay. We were happy with the service.
