The only thing I found okay was the drink. When I asked for something else, they couldn't manage it. The food was poor, and the ingredients clearly weren't fresh. My chicken was under-seasoned and not good, so I don't think it was worth the price. The pool was really dirty, yet they charged 55 dollars to swim.

Ngandu Lodge is peaceful and quiet, a nice spot for individuals, families or work retreats. There's a lot of trees and bushes, so expect mosquitoes, especially when it rains. The kitchen is wonderful. Rooms include bed and breakfast, though you can book one without it.

I camped for 120N/night while waiting five days for a new motorcycle tire from Angola. I had my own covered structure with a brai and a sink with potable water. The coffee and breakfast were great. The new owners have clearly taken the place back over and care about raising its standards. They were constantly improving the grounds, remodeling the cottages and rooms, and all the lodges have new roofs. Changes are happening quickly, so focus on the newer reviews. Cheers.

The campsite looks nice and it's cheap at 120pppn, but I can't recommend it. The toilets and showers were disgusting. We'd already paid, but left as soon as we saw the facilities.
