We felt safe with the gate operated by a button on the keys, and the place was quiet and close to the beach. It's about an eight-minute drive to the center of Swakopmond. This self-catering accommodation is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The owner and staff are friendly; when we mentioned a couple of initial issues, the owner sorted them straight away.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The area felt quiet and safe, and the owners were really friendly and generous with local tips and recommendations. Our suite had everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like a heated blanket, tea, coffee, and a few snacks. Highly recommend staying here.

The peace and quiet were exactly what I needed, and the host was welcoming and friendly. Villa Sohrada is a calm little gem near the ocean, a lovely place to rest your body and mind when life gets busy. My stay was too short, but I'd definitely recommend it for a relaxed getaway.

This is a lovely home with a story behind it. The family has a long history in Swakopmund, and their name is on the street beside the lodge because of their generations of contributions to the town. Thoughtfully chosen furnishings make it feel like you've come home. It's a non-commercialized lodge with options for a single guest, couples, families, or groups of friends, whether you want to share space or have a separate, self-contained cottage. The quiet, clean suburb is a few minutes' walk from the Atlantic and a five-minute drive from a pretty, clean, quaint town with everything you need. Walvis Bay is about 35 minutes away by car. Rates are very affordable, and the owner and host are a warm, welcoming family.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse itself is beautiful. It has just three bedrooms, with a small, equipped kitchen in the room. There isn't breakfast, but Swakopmund has plenty of restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would warmly recommend it.
