The Lagoon and my favourite restaurant, the Anchor, were close by, and downtown was an easy walk. We also had a short drive to 7dunes for quad biking or to Dunes Mall. I stayed for seven nights at de Bakern, and the room was clean, nicely decorated, and everything worked. Lovely service too. A great place to stay, de Baken.
I keep choosing this place when I’m in Walvis Bay. The rooms are spotless, and the staff are attentive and friendly. It’s been a consistently top class stay, with comfort and service that I’d happily recommend.
Netflix was a real bonus, and the stay itself was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the excellent location too.
The value for money was great, and the staff were friendly. Everything was neat and tidy, with a good location. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back.
