The room itself was nice and clean, but I felt really sorry for the female dog. She seemed to be left alone outside in the cold and was always trying to get attention. Her long nails and weight made it look like nobody was looking after or playing with her.

We found this place a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, bars, and tour agencies, and the area was quiet and felt very safe. Our car could be parked behind a locked gate, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed one night. The room was very large and clean, and the TV had Netflix and other options. We’d definitely recommend it.

Dirty, money-grabbing place in an awful area that didn't feel safe. Don't go there.

The location worked really well, with the water about a five-minute walk along a leafy street and restaurants and excursions nearby. The sea air was lovely. The property was clean and felt safe, and the owners were friendly and helpful. We also felt secure with the separate gated garage, which was free. We had a huge amount of space to ourselves: three large rooms, including two bedrooms and a living room, plus a separate kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and worked well, and the shower had excellent hot water. There was a large real fireplace, too. We asked for a heater because it was winter, and one was there the next morning. When we wanted to try lighting the fireplace, they brought supplies, showed us how, and encouraged us to use it. When the lights went out on our last day, we reported it and electricians arrived within ten minutes to fix the wiring. Any issue we raised was handled right away. We got in around 11 pm after a grueling ten-hour drive through the mountain passes from Windhoek. The owner lived nearby and came out of bed to let us in, helped with our bags, showed us around, and invited us to make ourselves at home. Outside, the property was spacious and beautifully decorated. We took a look around but didn't stay long because it was so cold, and we didn't use the pool. It was enclosed in glass and looked inviting.
