One staff member, Petrus, was helpful and patient, and his customer service was excellent. The rest of the staff we encountered during our company retreat on 15 January 2026 were rude and impatient throughout the day. They should improve how they treat people, because that kind of service can put customers off. This place has a lot of potential.

The game drive was the highlight, thanks to a kind, knowledgeable, attentive driver. The service was incredible, and the views and food were amazing too.

The wildlife was a real treat: we saw giraffe, warthog, impala, kudu, waterbuck, mongoose, and ostrich, either from the new waterhole viewing platform with a drink at sunset or on a short walk. The lodge is peaceful and quiet, with a relaxing feel and plenty of charm. We came in winter, when nighttime temperatures fell below zero, but our room stayed warm and cosy with a heat pump and woodburner. Staff lit the fire while he had dinner. Dinner was really good, made with fresh ingredients and lovely flavours. The staff are a huge asset, warm, welcoming, friendly, and seemingly happy to go the extra mile. Thanks especially to Petrus and the front of house team for making us feel at home. This was our first stop in Namibia, and we enjoyed it so much that we returned for our last night. A perfect place to ease into Namibia and recover after a long flight. Highly recommend.

There’s everything you need, including AC, good food, great service, and a small waterhole. The 22 km gravel road is a bit challenging, but once you arrive, get a full body massage. It’s absolutely great. One thing that disturbed the peace was the German-speaking owner, who was very loud. I’d recommend he respect his customers’ quiet.

The lodge is remote, which makes it wonderfully serene, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. It’s beautifully designed, with views, wildlife, and an amazing spread of stars to enjoy. The food is delicious too. A lovely place to unwind at the beginning or end of a trip to Namibia.
