Google Maps hasn't caught up with the brand new road, which has changed how to get here. Ask for directions at the Puma service station. It's very convenient for the airport, with friendly, basic rooms and great food. Caroline's huge, friendly welcome made the place special.

Meals are part of the stay here, both breakfast and dinner, and we enjoyed the healthy, tasty food and dessert. It's a small place, but quiet and tidy, tucked away from the crowds. The staff were welcoming and the owner was very kind. They promptly refunded us after a duplicate hotel booking, thanks again for that. This feels like a good place to relax, have tea with friends and listen to birds. There's no commercial noise, just nature and warm hospitality.

The pool and little garden were nice, and attracted some lovely birdlife. We spent the first and last nights of our holiday here because it's so close to the airport. It's pleasant, though expensive compared with similar places elsewhere in Namibia. The food was fine but the choices were a bit limited. The vegetarian option was just vegetables, which felt unimaginative, especially since we'd told the lodge in advance.

Very good for transfers, and it's the closest hotel to the airport.
