Casa Piccolo

A friend suggested this place, and I’m glad they did. I enjoyed my stay, and it was kind of them to join the two single beds into a double. The spa massage was amazing too. I’d drive all the way back just for that spa.

The hostess at Picolo is lovely and accommodating. She quickly booked us onto a safari at the last minute and shared guides and local knowledge. Breakfast was good, though there weren’t many options, and there were plenty of excellent jams to try. The room is spacious and has lots of soft, warm blankets, which helped since it can get chilly in winter. It’s an easy drive or cab ride anywhere, and a few restaurants and a grocery store are walkable. I’d definitely book again.

The location was very good, with some nice shops nearby and the city just 10 minutes away. Service was good too, with one man looking after us. The room was nice, though it had few sockets.

Namibia was a first for me, and I was lucky to have some Namibia veterans with me, especially my wonderful man in charge. I’m pretty sure I’d never have found this place if I’d come to this wonderful country on my own. Family Horn, Nigel, and the rest of the crew at Casa Piccolo gave us such a heartwarming welcome. The rooms were lovely, clean, nicely decorated, and had a really warm feel. I highly recommend Casa Piccolo for a one-night stay or, like us, a whole week. This trip and stay will stay in my memories for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!
