This B&B is reasonably priced, with free Wi-Fi, hot water, a shower and a separate bath, plus use of the kitchen. The location is good, about 1.2 km from a large shopping centre. Across from the house there's a tire place and a bottle store. No A/C, but there's a fan.

The guesthouse itself is stylish and pleasant, with a huge room, a nice lounge and breakfast room, and an attractive outdoor area. But my stay was a mixed bag. I arrived on a Sunday evening, and the surrounding area seemed empty and rather grim. Staff said it was very unsafe after dark. There's a small supermarket across the street, but no nearby places to eat. The owner, who sounded like a great guy in the reviews, wasn't there during my stay. The woman in charge wasn't very friendly or helpful, and couldn't give me information about restaurants or taxis when I asked. Not a welcoming first day in Namibia. There was also a very loud group in the outdoor area beside my room, talking well past 10 pm. I couldn't tell if they were staff, neighbours or guests, and it wasn't good for an early sleeper. I'm afraid I can't really recommend the place.

A lovely, affordable find in Windhoek. The staff were helpful and knew their stuff, the rooms had soft cotton sheets and were comfortable, and breakfast was tasty. The bird feeder brought in lots of great local birds. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

The owner was really helpful when we needed advice and was easy to talk to about Namibia. There's a garden to sit in and a shared area for breakfast, but not much nearby. It's close to the centre, though the neighbourhood isn't the best for wandering around late at night. Our room was a decent size but a bit run down, with rust. For the money, there are nicer places to stay in Winhoek.

Puccini was our first stop after arriving in Namibia, and we liked it so much that we came back for three nights before leaving. Schalk the owner made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was included and good, the garden was cute, and our room with a private bathroom was clean. They helped us plan our trip and with whatever we needed. We highly recommend it!
