The rooms were clean, and there was a nice communal kitchen for coffee and a braai area. Security was good, and it's close to town. But parking wasn't available near the rooms, and there's no A/C. The mattress is rock hard. I slept on top of the duvet for some softness. There are fans in the rooms.

It works really well, and it's good value for the price. The place was clean, the showers hot and the kitchen functional. My room had its own fridge and enough storage, and there's a little hut outside where you can enjoy food. I'd happily stay again.

Ramblers Self Catering was better than we expected: spacious, clean and safe accommodation at an affordable price. The nearby road does get a bit disturbing with noise starting at 5:30.

The owner was especially friendly and helpful. They got in touch before our stay with advice about things like SIM cards and taxis. The hotel is well located, with a supermarket within walking distance and easy access to the city. Our double room was a great size, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. It was the best sleep we had during our time in Namibia. The hotel was perfect for us.

The manager/owner gave us a very warm welcome. It's close to the city centre, which makes it good for walking and safety. To be clear, I think all of Windhoek is safe. The price is fair, and I'd recommend booking one of their rooms.
