We had a great time, and Elsie made us feel especially welcome. The bush setting is lovely, with some wildlife and a pretty challenging 4 by 4 route if you're after a bit of adventure. It could work well for family gatherings or group camping too, since the facilities seem suited to that. Service was thoughtful and tailored to what we needed. Only small snag was the shower temperature, which kept swinging between scalding and freezing. It wasn't a huge deal.

Everything we needed was already there, so we only had to bring food, clothes, and drinks. The place is quiet, tidy, and clean, with a pool, dining areas, and some wildlife roaming around. It's just outside Windhoek, and the roughly 1 km dirt road is well maintained, even for a sedan. The host was friendly and very accommodating, which made it a great spot for a quick weekend getaway.

The staff were friendly and quick to help. When the rain started, they were concerned about us and offered another option for braaing. Getting coffee and rusks at the campsite in the morning was a lovely extra. Thanks, everyone!
