The menu and drink choices were limited, and there was a lot wrong with the room. The bed hadn’t been changed, the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, and the bathtub faucet didn’t work. The walls and curtains were dusty, dirty, and stained. It’s meant to be non-smoking, but other guests smoked in their rooms and the smell spread into other rooms. Good luck.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, though the food is only average. I really like the central garden area, but it needs proper garden seating. The reception is lovely; they should extend the tiles from that floor up to the second floor and remove the dirty, smelly carpets. The rooms could use a modern revamp, and the outside wall needs work too. An elevator would help, since climbing the stairs isn’t appealing. This could also make a great party or wedding venue.

After travelling all day from Botswana, my family needed a room to rest, but the receptionist treated us terribly around 8 pm on 23/12/23. The kids were tired, and she didn’t seem to care. She kept saying she was calling the manager, then came back with a different story. I can’t remember her name, but she was such a liar, mxm. We left and found somewhere better. I’ll never go back or recommend it. I wish I’d checked other people’s reviews first. 😭

The staff were friendly, but nearly everything else was awful. Food was bad and overpriced, towels were stiff and worn, carpets were dirty and smelly, the room walls were cracked, the TV remote didn’t work, and the tap water was yellow. The toilet was dirty and stained, and I didn’t want to look under the sheets. The bathtub is fitted the wrong way round, so your head hits the tap. The elevator was broken, leaving the stairs as the only option. That evening housekeeping forgot to leave a bath towel, so I used a hand towel, and only noticed after getting into the tub. The area also felt a bit dodgy at night, so don’t walk around after 8. I love travelling and have stayed in some bad hotels, but this one takes the cake.
