Hotel Uhland was a comfortable base for our time in Windhoek. It's in a quiet spot just outside the city center, with kind, helpful staff who were always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were much larger than expected, very clean, and had both air conditioning and a mini-fridge. There's also a nice pool. Breakfast was the usual simple Namibian spread, and it was good.

A calm, cosy place right in central Windhoek. Big trees keep the rooms shaded, and there are plenty of outdoor seats as well as a swimming pool. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. A nice spot to unwind.

The staff are very friendly and the food is good quality. 🌸 The room gets 3 out of 5 from me, though. Internet may be a problem, since neither the Wi-Fi nor mobile data works properly.

It's a 25-minute walk to the town centre, and there's a good restaurant, a pool, and good service. The price is good for what you get, and there's netting around the bed. Just be careful stepping from the shower onto the floor, since you could slip and fall.

Jennifer was the best and pointed us to a great hidden gem so far: Anderson Gate, which leads into Etosha National park. You can drive through with a 4x2. 🦒🦔🦜😀
