Kuto makes this a handy stop for travelers coming into Abeokuta, since the hotel is near a major junction in the city centre. It’s also right by the Cultural Centre, Kuto, which houses the Capricorn Cinemas, and close to MKO Abiola Stadium for sports fans and people out for fun. The services are pretty good, too. Dusmar Hotels was once a leading hotel in Abeokuta. The new operators, a new subsidiary company run by AirFusion, are now working on a revival. There’s plenty of space for event managers who need to host shows or programs, and for companies looking for somewhere suitable for meetings and workshops. Travelers needing a place to spend the night could use it too, as could anyone who wants to be part of the progress happening there.

It has that old 1980s feel, with wooden wall finishes and old chairs. We used the hotel as a location for The Movie Ayinla. It’s an old place, but a good one.

Thursdays at Dusmar Hotels by Air Fusion mean Old Skul Nite, with Los Kenge, a veteran one-man band, entertaining guests with lovely tunes. It starts at 7pm and goes on till Mama Calls.

It’s been around a long time on Kuto in Abeokuta. The hotel is old, but it’s not too bad.
