The staff are the strongest point here, genuinely courteous and willing to go out of their way for guests. The area feels safe, and there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places within walking distance. Rooms are basic and lack modern amenities, but they’re decent for the price. It’s no luxury stay, though it works for a straightforward visit with friendly service.
You can expect a warm welcome each time, in a friendly, fantastic setting. There are cold drinks and good spaces for meetings, parties, or just hanging out. They’ve also got a small gym you can use.
A bar right outside my window, with single glazing, meant music and football went on late into the night. The food took ages and cost far too much. My first room’s door was being held together with cellotape, so I asked to move. The second looked much better until a cockroach and its little friend ran across my bed. This disaster of an inn ruined the last night of my first trip to Nigeria. Save your money and sanity, go somewhere else.
I had an awesome stay at this clean guest house. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the hospitality was great. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good stay.
