Petrus Hotel is a lovely place. It feels almost like home.

Even the luxury rooms feel cramped. There isn't much room to move around or conveniently reach things like the wardrobe.

The staff are friendly and really attentive, and the food is excellent. My room was clean, with air conditioning, power around the clock, and very fast internet. They also remind you to get a new Wi-Fi password whenever the old one expires. The surroundings are peaceful.

The breakfast was good, and the service overall was solid. Staff were nice, the rooms were good, and the hotel seemed well run. The air conditioning barely cooled, though, and please stop slicing open the sausages.

It’s handy for getting around Abuja: the secretariat and other major government offices are within walking distance, and shared taxis make it easy to reach other parts of FCT. Prices are moderate for middle-class travelers. There are basic amenities and breakfast is included.
