We booked a double room with breakfast online through booking.com, but after we’d both eaten, staff said breakfast covered only one person and the other couldn’t have it. The room itself wasn’t in good shape: we checked two rooms and found mold in both showers, a stained toilet, and a sink coming apart. Although we’d booked a double, we got just one towel, and it looked like it had been dragged behind a car. We had to ask them to clean properly and bring more towels.

I stayed a week with my family, and the place met a high standard for me, even as a European. The rooms were clean, everything worked, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was lovely, and I liked the service from the friendly, courteous staff. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, though, and the meals need improvement.

I had the full English breakfast, and it was great.

Savannah suites and apartments is a peaceful, enjoyable spot in the city center, and it’s welcoming for time with friends or family. The rooms are decent, and there’s a modern gym beside the pool that makes for a refreshing experience.
