BON Hotel

The food and service were really good, and the rooms were clean. It's a quiet hotel away from the city's noise, with a cilantro and hotel restaurant too. A great place, I'd definitely recommend it.

There's plenty of room around the place, and the pool and barbecue area are nice. The customer service was good, and the DJ played cool music, so it was a fun spot. The water did have biting insects in it, though, and they should treat the pool. Still, it's a beautiful place for a vacation.

There was no cold beer at the bar. They said the hotel was using a small generator and had no power, and the bar service was awful. The chefs seemed able to prepare only local food and didn't know how to cook other dishes. For a hotel presenting itself as a multinational brand, the food and service were the worst. Quite a reputation for that kind of brand... hahaha.

The ambience is what you'd expect from the Bon standard, and even with some renovation still going on when I visited, it was far ahead of the competition in Ado Ekiti. If you don't have your own transport, though, you may have to walk a bit down the road to find a vehicle. Worth every penny!
