This visit was disappointing. The hotel feels like a shadow of what it used to be. The towels were old, the A/C didn’t cool, the shower barely flowed, and the power kept cutting out. At night, we couldn’t find the manager when we needed help, so we had to fill a plastic bucket with cold water just to bathe.

I felt safe the whole time, with security on duty 24/7. The hotel had large, clean rooms and excellent food, and everything else was fine too. Greetings from Germany, I’d be happy to come back.

I haven’t stayed in one of the rooms, so I can’t say whether they meet the standard I’d hope for. The bar area, though, is fantastic.

The price is fair, and there’s good private parking. The place hasn’t changed much. There was a smell in the rooms, possibly from the use of nicotine agents.

It’s decent for a short break from home. The area is busy, though, which makes it hard to get the peace and quiet you might want.
