I like Magnum Hotel's peaceful atmosphere. There's a big open field for wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other events. It's a neat, pleasant spot for a weekend or some quiet time, though the hotel itself is about average. The staff are friendly and well behaved.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed in. It's a shadow of its former glory, with broken fittings, bad plumbing, and a bathroom that smelled. The lock on my first room failed and left me locked out. I paid for two nights but checked out the next day and asked for a refund for one night.

On Country Home road in Benin City, Edo State, this hotel feels almost like a desert. Nothing seems to be going on, and it seems like hardly anyone books it, except maybe people looking for somewhere to hide from family and friends.
