The two nights I spent here were otherwise great. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and I had no other concerns. But check-in left me uneasy: the receptionist photographed my passport when I showed my ID. I asked twice why, and got no answer or reassurance. I've travelled for years and never had that happen. My dad stayed at the same hotel without it happening to him, which makes this more concerning. If anything goes wrong with my passport, this will be the first place I look into.

The rooms are nice, and the staff are friendly, but noise was a real problem. The rooms aren't soundproof, so I couldn't sleep well with noise coming from the next room. The outside bar also makes the place rowdy. Meals were average, and the noodles and fried eggs were terrible. Still, it's a nice place overall.

The location was decent and the rooms looked okay, but quite a few things went wrong during my two-night stay. My towels weren't changed, and the cleaner refused when I asked for an extra one. The room sockets, safe, and fridge didn't work. I also lost my new Rayban glasses, and suspect hotel workers may have stolen them. Service was lacking, and the staff didn't seem confident or use discretion.

I liked that there was plenty of parking, but the place didn't have anything exceptional about it for me. The bar could use an upgrade. By the event centre, the men's and women's toilets share a lobby and are distinguished only by signs on the doors. The toilet didn't feel safe.
