The room smell is nauseating, and the shower pressure is so low that bathing takes twice as long. There’s no toilet seat either. I’m in Room 206 and have been here over two days without a phone or towel, so every request means walking down to reception. They say they’re fixing it, but I don’t believe them. The phone directory even carries the motto “... International standards!” which makes the missing phone absurd. A colleague changed rooms the previous week over the same issues. I had to use a towel from elsewhere because I didn’t bring one. Their excuse is that the weather makes it hard to dry towels, but my pool clothes dry indoors overnight. Lunch and dinner choices are just rice and swallow with a couple of soups, so there’s very little variety. Despite all this, they still want the full room fee. I wish I could leave now, but the nearest alternative is fully booked. I won’t come back.

The only thing I can give them credit for is steady, if slow, internet. The kitchen service and food were the worst, and there were noisy, inconsiderate boys who seemed to live there permanently. Water pressure was very low, the bathroom smelled, and I killed two cockroaches. Room facilities were worn out, with some very dirty, while the corridor rugs looked muddier and dirtier than the roads outside. Management should close the place for a complete renovation. I’m certainly not visiting again.

The local food is especially good, and there’s a spacious car park. They also have a conference hall that can comfortably take 100 people. It’s a quiet spot with a pool and bar, plus a gym, though there isn’t much equipment. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, making it a nice place to relax or spend a weekend. A hidden gem.

I had a nice experience. The front desk mentioned that customers using Bolt often struggle to find the facility. I helped by asking Google to correct the map, and one edit has been published while four are still under review.
