The hotel is fine for the rate, and I've stayed there a couple of times on work trips. One visit was frustrating: I had booked and paid ahead, but then waited more than 30 minutes while the receptionist tried to find the payment. When I suggested how she might locate it, she snapped at me. Some of the receptionists are professional, but they need to train and retrain the team.

The rooms need ongoing maintenance, and the staff should improve their customer service.

It's a lovely, quiet setting, good if you want some peace. The food didn't work for me and could be better, and the WiFi was so poor I couldn't use it. Customer service was good, though it could improve, and orders take a long time. Power goes off during the day and takes a few minutes to come back. Room cleaning doesn't follow a set time, it might happen in the morning or at noon.

The room was a decent size and the bed was good, with friendly staff. The food could improve, and service is very slow, even getting hot water sent to the room takes ages. TV channels are limited. There's enough parking, and the outdoor bar gets lively in the evenings.

Such a calm, lovely place to stay. There's no free breakfast, unfortunately. The chips are so good, and they'll bring extra ketchup if you ask. Their meals are delicious too, with lovely flavours.
