Omedel Luxury

The restaurant alone is worth a visit, even if you don't stay at the hotel. The food is MAD! If comfort and luxury matter to you when looking for somewhere in Enugu, this place stands out for its class. You can tell quality is a priority for whoever owns it.

I checked into Omedel Luxury Hotel in Enugu on January 16, 2025, paying 100,000 naira for a “classic room.” I expected comfort and cleanliness at that price, but the stay was a regret and a waste of money. There were small cockroaches crawling around, the floor was dirty, and the bed covers looked filthy enough to make me wonder if they’d been changed. I’d asked for a discount before booking and was refused, with staff saying I was paying for comfort. When I raised the state of the room, no discount was offered either. They first suggested having the porter sweep it, which I refused. After I insisted on a refund, they eventually moved me to another room, but it was only slightly cleaner and still had a few cockroaches. Its electrical switches didn’t work properly, and I received no compensation or apology. The next morning, management didn’t address what had happened. I checked out and asked to speak with the manager, but they still wouldn’t take responsibility or compensate me. Staff seemed indifferent throughout. This was an overpriced, poorly maintained stay, with nothing luxury about Omedel Luxury Hotel. I’d avoid it.

A peaceful place to visit, and the staff are well mannered.

I loved it so much, I wish I could've stayed longer after checkout.
