Southland Concept Hotel

The bed was sandy, the sheets needed changing, the AC wouldn't start, water was leaking, and the pool wasn't working. The room smelled bad, there were mosquitoes when the power was out, and the electricity kept cutting in and out. The staff were just okay. For 12k, the room was disappointing, and the place badly needs renovation. I saw other prices of 15, 22, and 45k, but didn't bother. The lower door lock broke, and it could only be operated from inside, so the only other option seemed to be breaking the door. Luckily, I'm a retired thief 🤣 and managed to unlock it. I stayed just one night, and it wasn't worth it. It's apparently the only hotel in that area, but I'd say avoid it.

Compared with other places I've stayed at for the same price, this was a horrible experience. There was no dry cleaning and the power supply was poor, with the AC working only when there was Nepa. The rooms and bathroom weren't clean at all. On my first visit, there was dust everywhere, and the toilet was moldy and looked badly kept. The place needs better maintenance.

For the size and price, I expected better. Keeping the room clean was a struggle, and getting towels, bedsheets, and a duvet changed was a hassle. One night I had to call several times for a fresh towel, even though I'd asked before going out. The towels and sheets were dirty, with marks all over them. I can't recommend a hotel this unkempt, even with rooms starting at 10k.

The staff said there was nothing they could do, and the room was in a terrible state. The floor and toilet were awful, the furniture was dusty, and there wasn't a decent towel. A horrible stay. If you care about your health, don't go there.
