DOA Hotel and Suites

I had a great stay and would come back if I need an affordable place in Ilorin. It’s quiet, peaceful, and close to many important places, so getting around town is easy. This isn’t somewhere to look for luxury, but it works if you just need a place to rest. The building is old, though that doesn’t have to put you off, have a look for yourself first. There are only eight rooms, so call ahead in case it’s full. I stayed in the most expensive room, which cost 6,000 Naira. The other rates are 5,000 and 4,500 Naira. For those prices, the free breakfast is a lot: four slices of bread with egg sauce and coffee. I ate it there every morning during my stay. My room was basic, with a bed, air conditioner, fan, mini fridge, television, an old bathtub, and a toilet. There’s no water heater, but staff brought hot water whenever I asked for it to bathe. They were courteous and the customer service was great for a place like this. Power isn’t guaranteed around the clock, unless the power company cooperates. The generator runs every day from 6pm to 6am. There’s a large parking area outside, and the guest house is behind a high fence and gate, with a security guard stationed there.
