The room they gave me was in the extension, with poor network reception and not enough for my needs. I asked to move to the main building, but they said there were no rooms left. I had to leave for sun heaven.

The rooms are comfortable and the Ikoyi location is decent. Since it's inside an estate, though, you'll need gate pass codes and things like that.

I've been coming here for years because it's local to me, just a walk from home. The staff were horrible, especially the women. I greeted them and they ignored me, then when I was leaving they made a point of warmly greeting the gentleman with me, saying, “goodnight Sir!” The staff here are rude and extremely misogynistic, and the people working at a place say a lot about the place itself. It's full of flies, mosquitoes, mould and damp. Unless you live nearby, don't bother, especially if you're a woman.

I’ve found a home away from home here. It's centrally located in Lagos, and the hotel has a lovely layout and a vintage feel. There's an ocean view, and it's clean, quiet and welcoming, with friendly yet professional service. The food is good and affordable. Dr. SEL.

I had to wait hours before they made my room available, and the breakfast options weren't flexible.
