Chateux De Atlantique Annex Hotel

The food tastes great, and parking is limited. My room was roomy, with a wardrobe bigger than you usually get in a hotel and a locker and drawer too. The bed was large enough for two. It wasn’t soundproof, though it did cut down outside noise to some extent. The location is okay 👌.

I hate leaving bad reviews because I try to see the good in people and businesses. Maybe I just caught the hotel at a bad time, but after staying a few days, I didn’t enjoy it and the service wasn’t good. The pool stayed dirty the whole time I was there, and I couldn’t swim even though I enjoy it. It looked like it had been dirty for a while, and they didn’t seem to try cleaning it. The restaurant was painfully slow. I saw several times where someone ordered at noon and didn’t get the meal until 11pm. I’m not exaggerating. The AC wasn’t working well. I complained, but nothing was done, and nobody offered to move me to another room. That was a red flag.

I especially liked the outdoor seating area. It was lovely and quieter during the day, so I could work there in peace. There’s also a pool. The hotel is in Victoria Island, Lagos State, and my room was a decent size, with beautiful artwork in it and along the corridors. As someone who loves art, I was impressed 😍. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were friendly and courteous. Housekeeping did have an issue once, but the staff sorted it quickly and made sure the room was thoroughly cleaned for the rest of my stay 😊. It’s worth considering for a stay on the island.

The food was tasty, and the staff were welcoming and courteous. I really enjoyed my stay at this boutique hotel. It was clean, cute, private, and smelled so good.
