8/10
The waiter who looked after us was awesome, with great customer service. The receptionist could be more welcoming. The place feels like a hidden gem: there’s no signpost, but with the exact address you won’t get lost. The fish was surprisingly tasty and good, though the menu is quite pricey. Our room’s shower was frustrating. The water only came out in trickles and wouldn’t get hot.

The meals taste great, though the portions are too small. The rooms are comfortable, but they need a proper clean, and the remote controls aren't easy to get hold of. I'd give it 2 stars.

Mr. Abu, the manager, was good. The restaurant service, though, was horrible. You can't ask for even one extra slice of bread. The waiter gives you two and that's it, and if you ask for more, he'll shout at you like you're taking his salary. The rooms also don't look like the pictures.

The kitchenette could've been neater, especially the microwave. The room itself was spacious and okay, but below what I expected. It was an alright place to spend the night, and the atmosphere was peaceful.

The rooms are tidy and functional, and the meals are decent. It's a quiet, cozy place to tuck yourself away, with good, affordable rates. Parking is limited, though. I'd visit again.
