I expected more from a high class hotel. The place feels old, and maintenance seems badly neglected. Breakfast is complimentary, but they don't seem to plan for how many guests are staying, which makes it frustrating. I can't recommend it as things stand, though I hope they improve.

Parking was ample, and it was a quiet setting. My room was clean, the staff were polite, and room service came quickly.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, though nothing particularly fancy. I was there a few weeks back, and the hospitality staff could use more training. Breakfast is meant to be included for residents, but only if they're staying at least 24 hours. The rooms cost a lot, so that rule didn't make sense to me. I watched them lose a customer who'd arrived in the early morning and was turned away from breakfast.

The food was awful, and the breakfast choices were laughable. The rooms had no windows or ventilation, so mine constantly smelled of mildew. There were mosquitoes and roaches too, so bring bug spray. I kept having to ask for towels and tissues because none were provided. The place is worn down and clearly hasn't been maintained. Choose a newer hotel on the street if you can. I absolutely don't recommend this one. Management needs to do better, and Startfire is literally the same as well.
