The price isn't too out of pocket, and it's a good idea for an apartment-style hotel in a lovely Lagos location with plenty to do nearby. It's quiet and tucked away in a nice spot in Ikeja. But even with full advance payment and a confirmation from both the hotel and Booking.com, our client's booking wasn't secure. The admins overrode one another about which bookings to accept, leaving customers waiting a long time at reception while they made last-minute confirmation calls. Basic facilities looked neglected: lights weren't working in the bathroom, corridors or reception area, the shared spaces, especially the kitchen, were very untidy, and the laundry facility was broken or unusable. The booking process and routine maintenance both need a lot of improvement.

I saw bedbugs on the bed, the room had no towel, and the AC kept switching off. I really wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want to waste your money.

The room itself is spacious and neat, but it isn't worth the price. The table and chair are uncomfortable and in bad shape, and the fridge is rusty inside and needs replacing. Rust was all over the bathroom and toilet too, and I just couldn't bring myself to use them. I don't get why so many reviews say the opposite.

The staff are amazing, and the apartment is comfortable and functional without being flashy. It works well as a family getaway, a home away from home, and also as a comfortable stop on the way to MM Airport.

There's constant power, and the place feels homely and affordable. The staff are warm and helpful, so I've already booked my next stay. Parking is the only downside, since there's space for no more than four cars at once.
