The kitchen staff were friendly, which was the one good part of my stay. Everything else was disappointing for a hotel in Lekki. I was there for two nights, December 12 and 13, 2025, and the room needed repainting while the bathroom was run-down. Hot water was hit or miss, and I had to leave the tap running for ages to get a chance of a hot shower. There wasn't a single towel for the two of us on the first night. The next day I used the one towel they provided to kill a cockroach on the bed. I showed Emmanuel at reception a video of it and asked for another towel, but was told there were no spares. He said he'd bring some after I mentioned posting the video, but nothing came. I called to say I was still waiting, and still no towels arrived.

The spot by Lagos Lagoon is a big plus, and the architecture looks good. Inside, though, things feel old and dated. Maintenance is alright. Enjoy #lagos

The bathroom was blocked, so after bathing I had to step out of a pool of my own water. I'd seen earlier reviews mentioning leaks and blocked bathrooms, but thought they might have fixed things. When I asked customer service about it while booking, the person went quiet, then said they were attending to people, which felt like a way to dodge my questions. The online pictures are misleading too. One shows someone by a swimming pool, but there is no pool. Another suggests you can see the Lekki Ikoyi link bridge from the hotel balconies. I booked expecting that view from my private balcony, as the website described, but a large building blocks it. The old photos, going back two years, should be replaced with current ones. Very bad experience.
