The rustic setting is cute, but the place was completely empty, and I can see why. I came to try the pizza I’d heard about, and it was quite good, but 29k is outrageous. Even the fanciest restaurants in Lagos don’t charge this much for pizza, and the whole menu was overpriced. Pizzeriah serves the same quality for a third of the price, so I probably wouldn’t come back.

Every visit takes me back in time. The lobby feels like an 80s museum with a touch of Italy. The pizza is good too, though they should do something about the prices. These may be the most expensive pizzas in Nigeria.

The pizza was one of the best I’ve had, with just the right texture and a good amount of each ingredient. Food in general was great, and the personnel were friendly. Manuela Residence is in the heart of Victoria Island and easy to find. It’s secure and peaceful, with plenty of parking. I’d recommend it again and again. They also have rooms for lodging and a spa.

What a great pizza, and the service is great too. The place has boutique decor and a soft, quiet atmosphere. The green walkway leading to the restaurant almost matches the pizza toppings. As a vegetarian, I was spoiled for choice by the extensive veggie menu. I just wish they had more kinds of beer.

The pool and trees give the place a small resort feel, with a lovely natural atmosphere. The food is really good, mostly Italian dishes, and they make a homemade wine that many wine lovers would enjoy. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it. There’s pizza too, along with ice cream made from seasonal fruit flavours.
